FAQ

Does one purchase cover more than one store? No. A theme licence covers a single Shopify store. If you run several stores you need a licence for each. Development stores are free to test in.

Do I get updates? Yes, free for life. When we release a new version it appears in your Shopify admin under Online Store → Themes. Updating replaces the theme files but keeps your settings and content.

Can I switch styles after buying? Yes. Halcyon ships as three styles and your purchase covers all of them. Add the style you want from the Theme Store and it installs free into the same store.

Is there a refund policy? Shopify handles theme billing and refunds. Contact Shopify support for refund requests.

Will installing the theme change my live store? No. A newly added theme sits in your theme library as a draft. Nothing changes for shoppers until you click Publish.

Will my products, pages and menus carry over? Yes. Products, collections, pages, blog posts and navigation live in your Shopify admin, not in the theme, so they appear automatically. What does not carry over is section layout and settings, because those are specific to each theme.

Do I need any apps? No. Every feature in the theme is built in. No app is required for mega menus, filtering, quick view, subscriptions, pre-orders, or anything else listed in the changelog.

Can I change colours and fonts? Yes, under Theme settings → Colors and Theme settings → Typography. Each style ships five colour schemes and you can apply a different scheme to any individual section.

Why does my section still show example text? Sections come with demo copy so you can see the layout before adding your own. Replace it in the theme editor before publishing.

Can I edit the code? Yes, the theme is yours to modify. Note that code changes are not covered by support, and editing theme files makes future updates harder to apply cleanly.

Does the theme support right-to-left languages? Yes. Layout, spacing and icons mirror automatically for Arabic and Hebrew.

What does support cover? Bug fixes, questions about how to use the theme, and help tracking down a setting. It does not cover custom code, third-party apps, or design work. For custom development, hire a developer through Shopify Partners.

How fast do you reply? Within two business days. Critical bugs that break a storefront are fixed immediately.

What should I include when I write in? Your store URL, which theme and style you are using, the page where the problem happens, and a screenshot. That usually saves a round trip.
